Object Class: Null

Description

UNA-023 consists of 2 objects, UNA-023-1 and UNA-023-2.

UNA-023-1 is a white disk of exactly the same dimensions and weight of UNA-002. As such, it has been speculated that UNA-002 and UNA-023 have a sort of correlation.

Whenever UNA-023-1 is pressed against an object and twisted, the object, designated UNA-023-1a will disappear into thin air. It is unknown where UNA-023-1a is sent to, and all attempts to reveal this location have failed. 023-1a is now forever irretrievable.

UNA-023-2 is a sheet of paper that seems to be a manual, detailing how to use UNA-023-1. On the first page of 023-2 reads, 'Do you have something that you want to get rid of, but don't know how to? A report sheet full of bad grades? A sentimental gift from your ex? A clingy boyfriend perhaps? Well, the Disappearing Apparatus (we're still working on the name) will solve all your problems!' The first page also shows an image of a white disk resembling UNA-023-1.

The second page of UNA-023-2 details how to use UNA-023-1, and reads, 'To use, simply press the disk on the object, and twist! The object will disappear forever, with absolutely no way to get it back (you can try, we assure you it won't work)!' UNA-023-2 seemingly also shows how to maintain 023-1, however the words have been smudged, to the point they are unreadable.

Acquisition

UNA-023 was delivered to Site 1 on the 14 July 2000, its package reading, 'A gift for you. Hope you'll love it! >:)'

When personnel used UNA-023-1 on the packaging, they were astounded by the properties of 023-1, and brought it in for more testing, where it was designated UNA-023.

Containment Protocol

UNA-023-1 and UNA-023-2 is to be kept in storage drawer 7 in Site 4. At no point are personnel allowed to use UNA-023-1 for any purpose, unless they wish to test it. It that case, they must fill in and hand up a form to the UNAS-7 explaining the test and the reason for it.

At no point are any UNAS-F-1 allowed to use UNA-023-1. Personnel are also prohibited from using 023-1 for personal purposes.

Addendums

Addendum-023-1

In an attempt to figure out where UNA-023-1a was teleported to (they could not have really disappeared due the Law of Conservation of Energy), trackers were added to different objects, and UNA-023-1 was applied to them.

As a result, all trackers started to malfunction the moment they were teleported. It is still unknown where the instances of UNA-023-1a have been teleported to.

UNA-023's files has been revised and corrected.
